Western Africa Series

This series, like the Eastern Africa Series, embraces a range of disciplines: history, politics and economics, development studies, gender studies, anthropology and the social sciences. The first two titles, published in 2013, are Commercial Agriculture, Slavery and the Slave Trade and The Economics of Ethnic Conflict. Its geographical coverage is broad, encompassing a region from the Sahelian states to Equatorial Guinea.
