Nexus: Essays in German Jewish Studies

Nexus: Essays in German Jewish Studies, a refereed book series founded in 2011 and comprising four volumes as of 2019, is the official publication of the biennial German Jewish Studies Workshop held at the University of Notre Dame, the first ongoing forum in North America for German Jewish studies. It publishes innovative research in German Jewish Studies and serves as a venue for introducing new directions in the field, analyzing the development and definition of the field itself, and considering the place of German Jewish Studies within the disciplines of both German Studies and Jewish Studies. Additionally, it examines issues of pedagogy and programming at the undergraduate, graduate, and community levels.

The series welcomes contributions in all areas, including text analysis, theory and philosophy, history, pedagogy, commemoration studies, as well as social and cultural analysis.
