Gender in the Middle Ages

This series investigates the representation and construction of masculinity and femininity in the Middle Ages from a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives. It aims in particular to explore the diversity of medieval genders, and such inter-related contexts and issues as sexuality, social class, race and ethnicity, and orthodoxy and heterodoxy.
