Kathleen Major Series of Medieval Records

This series consists of editions of records relating to the county and diocese of Lincoln during the Middle Ages, including those of its religious houses and of Lincoln Cathedral itself. It is named in honour of Kathleen Major, the distinguished medieval historian, who served as the Society’s General Editor for forty years, upholding the high standards of scholarship laid down by its founder, Charles Wilmer Foster.
