African Literature Today

African Literature Today (ALT) was founded in 1968 by Eldred and Marjorie Jones and continues to build on its well-established reputation in literary studies. Each annual volume is based on a specific theme, announced in advance in preceding volumes. Articles should not exceed 5,000 words, and should be submitted as a word document to:
