Where are you based and which territories do you cover?
I am based in Cambridge and I cover Denmark and Iceland

How did you get into repping?
When I worked in a bookshop I met a lot of academic reps and one thing led to another!

And how long have you been looking after the Boydell list?
20+ years

Who are your main clients?
Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, Bloomsbury Academic, Combined Academic Publishers

Before the Coronavirus, how often and how widely did you travel? Is there such a thing as an average day for you?
I’d travel to Denmark three or four times a year and to Iceland once every few years. My day is quite mixed – lots of emails, a few phone calls, zoom meetings of course, web research, contacting bookshops, librarians and lecturers.

Do you have a favourite city to work in?
Copenhagen

What’s the most unusual thing you’ve encountered in your work?
A Bollywood film being made in the old cobbled streets of Lund! I think it doubled for ‘old England’.

The Natural History of a Garden by Michael Chinery
