MICHA BRAUN is a theater scholar and research manager at the University of Leipzig. He works on artistic practices of repetition, narration, and memory in theater, performance, and cinema of the 20th and 21st centuries as well as on the use of media to appropriate the past. His focus is on experiences of crisis and coping strategies in Central and Eastern European art. His publications include In Figuren erzählen (diss., 2012), Reenacting History. Theater & Geschichte (co-ed., 2014), Die Praxis der/des Echo (co-ed., 2015), Brecht Yearbook 45 & 46 (co-ed., 2020/21).
